Italy's odd of beating Spain in the
Euro 2016 last 16 have widened to 2.4 to 1 compared to Spain's
1.52 to 1 after the Azzurri's 1-0 defeat to Ireland in their
final group game, the SNAI betting agency said Thursday.
Antonio Conte's men have also dropped to seventh favourite
to win the tournament on odds of 13 to 1, behind favourites
France at 5 to 1, Germany on 6 to 1, Belgium and Spain at 7 to
1, and Croatia and England at 10 to 1.
Portugal is the only top side given a worse chance than
Italy, at 14 to 1.
The rank outsiders are Slovakia at 130 to 1 and Northern
Ireland and Iceland at 750 to 1.
