Claudio Ranieri said Tuesday that the chemistry he has with his players is the secret of his fairy campaign with English underdogs Leicester City.
The side from the English Midlands are close to clinching their first ever Premier League title after moving seven points clear at the top of the table with three games to go thanks to a 4-0 win over Swansea, while second-placed Tottenham Hotspur were held 1-1 by West Bromwich Albion. Ranieri, 64, was expected to struggle to keep Leicester in the top flight when he was put in charge last year with a squad assembled at a fraction of the cost of those of big guns such as Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.
"There are many ways of reading what has happened," Ranieri told Radio 105.
"A good club, good players, a special season because the bigs sides have not been consistent and we have.
"And then there is the (special) feeling, the chemistry that has developed between me and the players".
