Irma Testa has qualified for the
Rio Olympics, becoming the first Italian woman boxer to take
part in an Olympic Games.
Testa, 18, from Torre Annunziata near Naples, qualified for
the Games by getting to the final of the European championships
in Turkey Friday.
Testa is a European champion and world junior champ at the
54 kg weight limit.
She will be competing in the Olympics in the 60 kg category.
