AC Milan is not in a state of
"chaos" after appointing its fifth coach in two years, CEO
Adriano Galliani said Wednesday at the presentation of Cristian
Brocchi as caretaker till the end of the season.
Galliani said no other coach had been contacted "in this
period".
He said Milan had been hoping to end the season with Sinisa
Mihajlovic, who was sacked Tuesday after Saturday's 2-1 defeat
to leaders Juventus left the seven-time European champions sixth
in Serie A with 49 points, 27 behind the Bianconeri.
Galliani added: "Nothing at all has changed in these 30
years, between great victories and other periods".
He said Brocchi's permanence in the job would depend on how
Milan plays under him.
Milan have got through four coaches in two years after
parting company with Massimiliano Allegri, Clarence Seedorf,
Filippo Inzaghi and Mihajlovic - not counting Mauro Tassotti who
also briefly played a caretaker role.
