Italy's third-choice goalkeeper,
Genoa's Mattia Perin, tore an anterior-cruciate ligament (ACL)
in a clash with a teammate in Saturday's game against Sassuolo
and is out of Euro 2016, Genoa said Tuesday.
They said Perin, 23, would be out for six months.
The Latina-born Perin, third choice behind skipper Gianluigi
Buffon of Juve and PSG's Salvatore Sirigu, has played once for
Italy.
