Napoli's hopes of winning the
Serie A title suffered a massive setback on Tuesday when the
league's sporting judge handed Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain
a four-match ban after his angry reaction to a red card in
Sunday's 3-1 defeat at Udinese.
Higuain, Serie A's top scorer with 30 goals, including one
he scored in Udine, laid his hands on the referee's chest as he
protested the sending-off for a second yellow card.
The sporting judge said the 28-year-old striker committed
a "disrespectful gesture".
Second-placed Napoli trail champions Juventus by six
points with seven games to go.
