Andrea Barzagli is an injury doubt for Juventus' bid to beat Barcelona in the Champions League final in Berlin on June 6.
The big defender, a 2006 World Cup winner in the same stadium, injured a muscle in his right thigh in Saturday's 3-1 win over Napoli.
"Therapy has already started and we are hoping to get him fit for the final," Juve medical sources said.
Coach Massimiliano Allegri said he "hoped to win like Italy did over France in 2006".
He said he'd prefer that the match did not go to penalties, given Barcelona's shooting skills.
"I'd settle for a last-minute win," he said.
