Italy's COVID-19 case curve fall is
slowing down while the number of cases in intensive care units
and general wards has fallen, the independent health foundation
GIMBE said Thursday.
The curve dropped 14.8% over the last week, from May 11 to 17,
compared to a drop of 27.5% in the previous week, the foundation
said.
ICU presences were down 5.9% and cases in general wards down
13%.
Deaths linked to COVID were down 9.4%.
Case numbers have fallen in all Italian regions, GIMBE said,
ranging from -0.1% in Sardinia to -22.7% in Calabria.
