A new smartphone application
launched in Italy links those offering practical help ranging
from dog walking to after-school lessons with customers seeking
these services.
The free "Vicker" app was launched three months ago and is
currently operational in Rome and Vicenza.
About 70.9% of those who have registered have done so to
ask for services and about 80.3% find it useful and would
recommend it to friends, Vicker said in a statement.
A total of 49.7% of users who have used the service have
tried it again.
It said the oldest client so far was born in 1929 and they
had used the app to ask for washing and ironing services.
