The government is set to postpone
the July 10 deadline for parents to present documentation
showing that their children are compliant with a law making
vaccinations obligatory for school admission, sources said
Monday.
The League-5-Star Movement's government contract pledges to
revise the law on obligatory vaccinations.
Last week Interior Minister and Deputy Premier Matteo
Salvini, the League leader, said 10 obligatory vaccines were
useless.
Health minister Giulia Grillo of the M5S, however, said
vaccinations were a "fundamental instrument" and the only
question was "the best way to propose them to the population".
