Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi's city
planning chief Paolo Berdini risks losing his job, according to
speculation at town hall on Tuesday.
Berdini is seen as the least "political" and most independent
member of the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement's (M5S) city
cabinet.
On several occasions he has expressed positions that were not
in tune with the rest of the executive, including comments on
the development of the C line of the Rome metro and on AS Roma's
plan to build a new stadium.
Raggi's administration has had a high turnover of senior
figures since it took charge of the capital in June.
