Premier Matteo Renzi said
Wednesday that the government is unlikely to put its justice
reform bill, which includes changes to the statute of
limitations, to a confidence vote in parliament. He said this
was out of respect for magistrates union ANM, which has
criticised the bill. "We have prepared good rules in my opinion,
but I think twice about putting the bill to confidence vote if
(ANM President Piercamillo) Davigo calls the measures damaging
and useless," Renzi told RTL 102.5 radio.
