The head of AMA trash collection
firm defends management while we speak for citizens, Rome city
cabinet member for the environment, Paola Muraro, said Monday.
"They thought we would passively submit to their attacks
but we have one objective - to clean Rome up, in al senses," she
wrote on anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S) leader Beppe
Grillo's popular blog.
"We're willing to go to the city prosecutor to report
whoever has managed AMA both politically and on the company
level, for negligence".
"It is now up to the people of Rome (to go) beyond media
speculation...to understand who is the cause of the
pre-emergency phase Rome is experiencing," she wrote.
"Who chooses to sacrifice the city so that nothing may
change, planning a trash coup just a few days after (M5S Mayor)
Virginia Raggi's victory.
Muraro added she wants a hearing with the parliamentary
eco-mafia commission sooner rather than later.
