contracts and wage increases should keep pace with those in the
private sector, CGIL union federation official Serena Sorrentino
said Tuesday after a meeting with Civil Service Minister
Marianna Madia. Wage increases must be the same for everyone,
Sorrentino said. "After that there can be a differentiation with
respect to productivity," she said, adding that the CGIL has
proposed a "new protocol for labor relations".
