Civil Service Minister Marianna
Madia said Tuesday during collective bargaining talks to renew a
national labor contract that incentives to public servants must
not be distributed indiscriminately.
Madia also called for selective turnover and targeted
recruiting based on actual needs in the public sector.
The minister added there will be more financial resources
for labor contracts if there is development, and said government
will unveil a unified document on public employment in January.
There is no draft as yet, ministry sources said after some
media reported an enabling decree to Madia's civil service
reform law was in the pipeline.
