Maria Elena Boschi said Monday that the German government was
impressed by the amount of work Premier Matteo Renzi's executive
has done after meeting Peter Altmeier, the chief of staff of the
German chancellery, in Berlin. "Our German partners are struck
by the amount of work on our reforms, in particular the
institutional reforms, because they can bring greater stability
and enable them to have a credible, reliable interlocutor... A
reliable partner, like Italy is now in Europe, is certainly a
great development for them too".
