Romans will decide whether Democratic
Party (PD) leader and Premier Matteo Renzi's participation in a
June 1 rally with PD Rome mayoral candidate Roberto Giachetti is
"scandalous" as claimed by anti-establishment 5-Star Movement
(m5S) candidate Virginia Raggi, Giachetti said Friday.
"Let her think what she wants, it'll be the Romans who'll
decide if it's scandalous or not," Giachetti said.
Raggi slammed Renzi's attending a rally four days before
the June 5 election because, she said, he was abandoning the
allegedly impartial role he should play as premier.
