RAI public broadcaster will publish
the salaries of its execs and top earners online within 60 days,
the board of directors decided Thursday.
The move comes under a new Transparency and Corporate
Communications Plan the board approved today, as required by
law.
In two months, the RAI website will include board member
CVs and salaries, the nature of domestic and international
investments, and Qualitel programme-quality survey data.
The company website will also make public the CVs and
salaries of all employees making 200,000 euros or more annually,
RAI's hiring criteria for both employees and contractors, and
the names, CVs, and positions held by any outside consultants or
other non-artistic contractors with yearly salaries of 80,000
euros or more.
