Recent cases of graft in campania
have highlighted the risk of the Democratic Party falling into a
"moral chasm," former Naples mayor and ex-Campania governor
Antonio Bassolino said Wednesday, urging PD leader, Premier
Matteo Renzi, to "intervene with determination". Bassolini was
commenting on a votes-for-favours probe involving the Casalesi
clan of the Camorra mafia and PD Campania chief Stefano
Graziano, who has suspended himself, as well as other Campania
probes involving the PD.
