(see related) Beppe Grillo, the
leader of the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S), on
Thursday called on President Sergio Mattarella to intervene
after a minister quit in relation to an oil probe in the
southern region of Basilicata.
"Given these very serious and exceptional matters, the
5-Star Movement considers an intervention by President
Mattarella to be appropriate," Grillo said on his blog.
"Italy is a country in ruins that is not governed by
anyone, but subjected to a war between gangs".
The M5S has filed a no-confidence motion in parliament in
relation to the case.
"At the top of the pyramid of command is a puppet leader
who receives orders from multinationals, banks and European
bureaucrats.
"Under him is a band of ministers who have more conflicts
of interests than relatives".
