Five-Star Movement (M5S) co-founder
Gianroberto Casaleggio on Thursday denied rumors he might quit
the anti-establishment party.
"I am not giving up and will go on fighting alongside
millions of honest Italians until the success of the Movement I
helped found," he wrote on M5S chief Beppe Grillo's blog.
Casaleggio called "a jackal" the author of a post alleging
he might step down due to health problems.
The chairman of Casaleggio Associati srl, an Internet and
publishing company that advises on network strategies,
Casaleggio is sometimes called the "guru" of the party that has
become Italy's second largest after the center-left Democratic
Party (PD) of Premier Matteo Renzi.
