Premier Matteo Renzi said Tuesday
"it is hard to raise minimum pensions, at the moment we have
given precedence to the middle class and households with an
income of 1,500 euors a month. We are studying how to extend the
80 euros to those who get a minimum pension. We'll see if we're
able to do it". People on the lowest pensions in Italy get as
little as 300 euros a month.
