Italian financial services
company Mediolanum said on Tuesday it had settled a dispute with
Italy's tax collection agency linked to its Irish affiliates.
Mediolanum, which is partly owned by former premier Silvio
Berlusconi's Fininvest holding, said it would pay an extra 120.2
million euros to the tax agency, plus interest.
It added that in view of provisions already made, the
additional cost of settlement on its 2015 accounts would be 31.2
million euros.
