Northern League chief Matteo
Salvini said after meeting with Forza Italia (FI) leader Silvio
Berlusconi on Friday that he wants "substance, not deals". "I
offer names and programs and I talk about content, not
alliances," Salvini said. "If anyone shares our content they are
welcome, but I'm not interested in alchemy or flip-flops". The
anti-immigrant, anti-euro party leader added "FI will be able to
talk to the League as long as it remains firmly in the
opposition against the Renzi government".
