Premier Matteo Renzi's new 'baby
bonus' for children under three will be dispersed as a single
payment of at least 900 euros annually beginning in 2015, rather
than 80 euros monthly like other tax bonuses, according to
detailed budget information released Wednesday. The measure will
apply to families with an income under 30,000 euros annually. As
well, the documents show a plan to encouraging hiring would give
employers a benefits break of 8,600 euros rather than earlier
estimates of 6,200 euros on jobs lasting at least three years.
