Tourists will be able to book a
visit to Venice from 2020 onward, Mayor Luigi Brugnaro said
Monday.
The aim is to allow those who want to plan their visit to
reserve access, but "access will not be denied anyone," Brugnaro
added.
However, he said, access would be "more complicated" for
those who do not reserve a place.
Venice has been striving to combat overcrowding.
