Italy's biannual Cibus international food and beverage fair is gearing up for its 17th edition, to be held in the northern city of Parma from May 5-8.
Some 1,000 buyers from 100 countries are expected at this year's edition, during which some 10,000 foreign and 50,000 Italian operators will mingle and peruse Italian food products in pavilions stretching across 140,000 square meters.
Cibus organizers also gave a preview of what is to come during Expo 2015, the next world's fair to be held May 1-October 31 in Milan next year.
