The Soul System band won the
10th edition of the Italian version of the television music
talent show after beating singer Gaia.
Four candidates remained in the last round, assessed by four
judges. Eight thousand watched the show live at the Mediolanum
Forum.
Guests in the spotlight for the evening included OneRepublic,
which alongside the four finalists opened the final episode of
Sky's talent show with 'Wherever I Go'.
For the competition itself, Gaia and Giorgia performed 'I
Will Pray', which the Rome singer had sung with Alicia Keys as
well. Then came Soul System and Eva with Carmen Consoli and her
'L'Ultimo Bacio' and Roshelle with Clean Bandit.
The most eagerly awaited guest of the evening, Ligabue,
arrived in the pause between the two parts.
