Celebrities heading to this year's
Giffoni children's film festival in Campania, southern Italy,
include American actress Jennifer Aniston, singer Mika, English
actor Nicholas Hoult and the cast of the Gomorra TV series.
The Giffoni Experience, a film festival created and
directed by Claudio Gubitosi for young people, is set to run
this year from July 15 to July 24, and events will focus around
the theme of "destination".
It will open with the Italian preview of the new
Pixar-Disney animated blockbuster Finding Dory. About 175
productions are included in the programme, along with four
previews, eight special events and a teaser.
The jury will be made up of 4,151 young people from
three-years-old and upwards, coming from 51 countries.
Other premieres will include Ghostbusters, Me Before You
with Emilia Clarke and the TV film Fungus the Bogeyman, with
Timothy Spall.
