Florence's Uffizi Gallery is
planning to introduce more personalised museum routes for
visitors, similar to services offered by the Louvre in Paris,
Director Eike Schmidt said on Tuesday.
"The details are still to be defined, but soon visitors
will have more choices regarding the way they visit the
gallery," said Schmidt, adding that the museum would be putting
its staircases back to use.
He said the new system would be up and running in 2018 or
2019, but some measures may be introduced earlier.
