Italian director Paolo Genovese
has won best screenplay in the international narrative feature
film category at the Tribeca Film Festival for his movie Perfect
Strangers.
Winners were announced Thursday in New York.
On Monday the film won top prize at the David di Donatello
awards - the Academy of Italian Cinema (ACI) film awards akin to
the Oscars - and took best screenplay there as well.
Genovese dedicated the Tribeca award to the film's actors,
"because without them a screenplay wouldn't be anything".
