Italy's video game industry grew
by 6.9% in 2015 over the previous year with a turnover of more
than 952 million euros, the sector association Aesvi said on
Tuesday.
The software sector grew by 6% with a turnover of 569
million euros, the video game console sector by 8.7% with a
turnover of 300 million euros, and the accessories sector by 7%
with a turnover of 82 million euros, Aesvi said.
Games for eighth-generation consoles almost doubled their
turnover last year, it added.
