Some 30,000 fans on Sunday
attended a Lorenzo Jovanotti concert guest-starring Eros
Ramazzotti in honor of late singer/songwriter Pino Daniele, who
died in January this year.
San Paolo stadium resounded with some of the Neapolitan
blues singer's best-loved tracks as Eros and Jovanotti dedicated
"the show within the show" to their deceased friend and
colleague, with whom they played the same Naples venue as a trio
in June 1994.
Crusading anti-mafia writer Roberto Saviano came up with a
half-hour pre-show track list.
"It'll be like just being there! Give my love to Naples!"
the Neapolitan journalist and writer tweeted.
The Naples show was the next to the last on Jovanotti's
tour, which ends July 30 in Bari.
