Environment Minister Gian Luca Galletti took advantage of an informal meeting with his European counterparts in the Latvian capital of Riga on Tuesday to invite them to admire Italy's natural beauty at a special themed area at Milan Expo 2015.
"EU environment ministers in Riga talk about Expo 2015. All are invited to Biodiversity Park, a journey through Italy's natural wealth," Galletti said in a post to his Twitter feed. The minister is in Riga to discuss the common EU position on a comprehensive global agreement to combat climate change after 2020, which is expected to be approved at a UN-mandated conference in Paris later this year.
