Computer software giant Microsoft will contribute to the realisation of the US pavilion at Milan Expo 2015, company and pavilion representatives said on Thursday.
Microsoft will provide financial and technological support to the 'American Food 2.0' pavilion at next year's Universal Exhibition on the theme 'Feeding the planet, energy for life'.
"Next year (Microsoft Italy) will focus all its activities on Milan with various initiatives, as well as trying to attract further investment," said Microsoft Italy CEO Carlo Purassanta. The aim, he said, is to "show how technology and innovation are contributing towards meeting the global challenges tied to food".
