Writer Roberto Recchioni and
illustrator Nicola Mari on Friday presented the highly
anticipated new issue of the comic series Dylan Dog, together
with the character's creator Tiziano Sclavi.
The series returns to newspaper stands on Saturday after a
three-year hiatus following the death of its publisher, Sergio
Bonelli.
The new chapter of the paranormal investigator's
adventures, titled "Spazio profondo", (Deep Space) intends to
recapture the comic's original spirit.
But it will also witness some changes like the retirement
of Inspector Bloch and the arrival of new characters, including
a new Inspector Carpenter and an enemy of morality called John
Ghost, Recchioni explained.
Sclavi welcomed the new issue and said he was happy to pass
the comic over to Recchioni, who stepped in as Dylan Dog's
curator and writer a year and a half ago.
