A 56-year-old Italian woman stabbed
her 59-year-old husband to death in front of their 15-year-old
son after an umpteenth domestic row near Brescia on Saturday
night.
The victim was named as an unemployed man, Romano Fagoni, with
several health issues recently.
The woman was named as Raffaella Ragnoli, a housewife.
The incident took place at Nuvolento late on Saturday night.
Police said Monday Fagoni had been stabbed six times in the
throat.
They said the woman had snatched the pen knife from Fagoni with
which he had initially threatened his wife and son.
But prosecutors have not cited self-defence as a motive for the
crime.
Ragnoli cut Ragoni's carotid artery and he bled to death
quickly.
