There have been 39,474 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 41 more victims of
the virus, the health ministry said Tuesday.
That compares to 10,371 new cases and 41 more victims Monday.
Some 228,559 more tests have been done, compared to 74,636
Monday.
The positivity rate is up from 13.9% to 17.3%.
Intensive care cases are down 10 to 183 and hospital admissions
down 11 to 4,199.
The currently positive are 603,882, down 13,046 on Monday.
The recovered and discharged are 16,932,500, up 52,817 on
Monday.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 17,703,887,
and the death toll 167,505.
