Cable car passengers rescued

(ANSA) - Aosta, February 11 - Some 30 skiers were rescued Monday with a helicopter and rope ladders after a cable car broke down at Cervinia north of Aosta.
    The operation was carried out by the Val d'Aosta Alpine rescue service and Guardia di Finanza finance police.
    All the skiers are in good condition, sources said.
    The breakdown was caused by a mechanical fault, sources said.
