The government is to crack down
on 'drug pushing piazzas' across Italy, Interior Minister Matteo
Salvini said Wednesday.
He said an anti-drug directive had been approved to "prevent
and combat" drug sales.
Police will be boosted at known drug-pushing areas and
procedures to deport illegal migrant pushers will be
streamlined, Salvini said.
"We want to restore to decent citizens the too many zones of
Italy which are hostage to pushers and criminals," said Salvini.
"It's just the start".
