Milan has suspended the use of
diesel cars with Euro 4 emission standards or inferior as of
Tuesday due to high pollution levels in the northern city.
The vehicles must not be used between 8:30 and 18:30.
The city has also barred people from putting heating up
higher than 19 degrees in homes and shops as part of the
protocol to bring the smog levels back down.
