A new Genoa bridge to replace
the one that collapsed killing 43 on August 14 should be ready
by Christmas 2019, Genoa Mayor and Reconstruction Commissioner
Marco Bucci said Thursday.
Bucci did not say who would build the new bridge.
The government has previously ruled out motorway company
Autostrade per l'Italia (ASPI).
"Things are going in the right direction," Bucci said.
The government meanwhile said a series of amendments to is
Genoa decree would earmark another 120 million euros for the
emergency.
