An alleged stalker can be
treated on a par with an alleged mafioso and can be held for the
similar danger he poses to society, a Milan court said Friday.
The principle, established for the first time in Italy, was
set by the prevention measures department of the Milan court on
the basis of the 2017 reform of the anti-mafia code.
In the specific case it was applied to a Filippino accused of
persecutory acts against his ex-girlfriend.
