Nicole, a four-year-old girl
from Brescia who died in April due to an ear infection, could
have been saved.
This assessment was given by Brescia prosecutor's office
consultants in an advance copy of a report published by Il
Giorno on Tuesday.
The prosecutor's office had put all 15 doctors who had taken
care of the little girl under investigation.
The behavior of the pediatrician, especially, was deemed
"superficial and not alert enough".
The report states, however, that the inadequate and negligent
conduct shown by the doctors does not appear to be enough to
support the hypothesis that this caused the girl's death.
