Italy is set for more rain and
cold this week apart from a respite on Wednesday, weathermen
said Monday.
"The storm front will continue to sweep Italy all week apart
from a break on Wednesday in most parts except the north west,"
meteorologists at the Centro Epson Meteo-Meteo.it said.
Cortina d'Ampezzo woke up to its first snow of the season
Monday.
Acqua alta in Venice reached 127 cm, a depth not seen for
four years.
In the northwestern province of Cuneo, roads into France were
flooded.
At Caserta near Naples, rain got into some departments of the
local hospital.
