Three inmates escaped from
Rome's Rebibbia Nuovo jail overnight, sources said on Thursday.
The three are Albanian nationals who used sheets to climb
down near a watchtower in an area where previous escapes had
been made from, sources said.
One of the escapees was in prison for homicide, another
for participation in homicide and the third for exploitation of
prostitution, the sources said.
During the night inmates from Camerino jail were
transferred to Rebibbia following Wednesday's earthquakes in
central Italy.
