The exhibition 'The legacy of
Falcone and Borsellino' dedicated to the two slain Sicilian
anti-mafia prosecutors resumed its itinerant journey through
Italy's schools on Monday, opening at the Liceo Artistico
Cottini in Turin.
The photographic exhibition is an ANSA project in
partnership with the ministry for education to remind the young
generations of the story of Giovanni Falcone and Paolo
Boresellino from their university studies in law to their
assassination by the mafia in separate attacks in Palermo in
1992.
School principal Antonio Balestra reminded students of the
"importance of knowing how to choose between good and bad".
"School has the task of teaching you always to choose for
the best, for yourselves and for others," he said.
The exhibition is open until October 13 from 9 am to 6 pm
upon prior booking on line at www.liceocottini.it.
