(ANSA), Naples, September 27 - Police have informed Naples
prosecutors of the case of a local girl who has stopped going to
school after an explicit video of her was shared in online chat
rooms, weeks after another young Italian woman committed suicide
over a widely shared sex video.
Police have reported several people for violation of
privacy and defamation in the case, though official
investigations have yet to begin.
The prosecution unit that has been informed is also dealing
with the case of Tiziana Cantone, a 31-year-old woman from the
Naples area who committed suicide earlier this month after an
explicit video of her was widely shared on the Internet,
accompanied by ridicule and insults.
