Well-known Italian fertility
doctor Severino Antinori has been placed under house arrest
again after violating his mandatory residence twice in three
days.
The man, who was arrested in May after a woman said he had
forcibly removed eggs from her at his clinic, was found in Rome
by Italy's financial police (GdF) and his daughter, against the
rules of his mandatory residence in Sabaudia.
He was first placed under house arrest on May 13 on
charges of forcibly removing 8 eggs from a young Spanish nurse
to then - after fertilizing them - implant them in three women
on a waiting list.
Antinori was found in Rome by the GdF on September 5
during a check and three days later by his daughter at his Rome
clinic.
His daughter alerted the police and a court order then
placed Antinori under house arrest on Saturday.
