The wreck of the Costa
Concordia made its last voyage Thursday from a Genoa dry dock
where it was cut up to another nearby dock where what remains of
the once-proud cruise liner will be demolished.
Five tugs brought the Concordia into the dock where it will
end its days, as other activities in the port of Genoa were
suspended.
Concordia sank off Giglio Island on January 13, 2012
killing 32 people and former captain Francesco Schettino
recently saw a 16-year sentence for abandoning ship and multiple
manslaughter upheld on appeal.
